Hello again, Seattle-area! It’s Green Latrine, your fave source for eco-friendly, porta-potties, featuring our signature hand wash stations, hand sanitizer, convenient cleaning/drop-off/pick-up schedule, and gorgeous evergreen color scheme. Like the rest of the world, we’ve been impacted by the pandemic. Beyond the slowing down of events to which we delivered our porta-toilets, we’re still waiting on a brand new addition to our ever-growing fleet, due to back ordered materials. It hasn’t slowed us down however when it comes to our involvement in the community where we live, play and work!
If you have any questions regarding our toilets, get in touch with us at to discuss your requirements.
You may have seen our blog in May, featuring an article about our founder Will Niccolls and his work helping to determine, study, and aid the hundreds of small businesses (largely women and minority-owned) adversely affected by the Covid-19 lockdowns. Pairing with two student research teams from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Affairs and the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, the data from those studies will be forthcoming, and viewable on this very blog in the next month or so!
The last weekend of July was a treat when we were able to supply portable toilets to the 2021 Seafair Triathlon at Lake Sammamish State Park. Anchored at the park the event took place throughout both Issaquah and Sammamish, and though a bit more restricted this year for safety reason, we were thrilled to provide our super-sanitary fleet to serve the triathlon participants (a mix of athletes from beginner to elite, of all ages) and spectators. Here are a couple pics of our potties, enjoying the absolutely beautiful day at Seafair.
Then, on July 26th, on another cloudless Summer day, Green Latrine was proud to sponsor Hole #16 (is the rhyme a coincidence?) at the Master Builders Association Golf Tournament. Held at the Everett Golf and Country Club, the PGA-level course is just gorgeous, with narrow fairways surrounded by Douglas fir trees. In addition to our porta-potties themselves, giving the majesty of the Douglas firs a real run for their money, we had a table replete with the good “GL Swag”, including journals and pens, golf-tees, water bottles, and coffee mugs, items to encourage great performance and regularity on the course, and off.
So though we’re all moving a little more slowly these days, we’re still moving smoothly, with an eye to getting truly regular soon again! Keep us in mind as you plan your next events, and we’ll see you out there! We appreciate you for continuing to make us Seattle-area’s number one portable restroom rental company.
