On September 11 we took over the beautiful Seattle Farm so Green Latrine could step into the world of corporate retreats. We gathered our entire team for our first ever all-team day-long planning retreat. We started with SAFETY. Obviously gathering people in the era of COVID required us to approach the day with a real safety mindset. We then spent time reviewing the safety inspection audit and report that the State of Washington completed on our operations. We take safety seriously and the report from the State agrees! Then we moved onto our core values and vision. Creating our shared vision and core values, defining what we as a company stand for. We came to an agreement fairly quickly. It was in the minds of all of us that the first and foremost element in everything we do is safety. SAFETY for ourselves, our team, our clients, our community, and our environment. Then we decided LEADERSHIP is a core element of our daily work and what we all strive for. INTEGRITY came next and then TEAMWORK. In fairly quick order we put together a very clear set of core values that we collectively try to achieve every day for ourselves, our team, our clients, our community, and our environment.
