Snow in Seattle! Snow, ice, and freezing temperatures are no friend to outdoor events or construction. Pretty tough to prevent the waste tank of your temporary toilet from freezing. Once a porta-potty freezes it’s a big ice block in the waste tank and it’s next to impossible to pump it. Additional challenge comes from trying to navigate our hills, steep streets, and tight alleys of so many of our Seattle area neighborhoods. The hills of West Seattle, Magnolia, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, and Laurelhurst make travel in those areas super tough. The driveways of the lakefront homes on Mercer Island, Kirkland. Juanita and Lake Sammamish are impossible to navigate in our trucks with snow. The higher snowfall amounts in outlying areas in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties prevent us from getting too far off the freeways. So, this time of year on days with snow and ice we keep our clients as safe as possible and keep our service trucks off of your property. As we work through service schedules and icy roads during winter weather, please call our office at 206-397-0336 to communicate your specific service needs.
